Information provided you either in writing or contained on Lexington Building & Supply Co., Inc. past and present Year 2000 Internet website pages, if applicable, regarding products and services offered by Lexington Building & Supply Co., Inc. or with respect to Lexington Building & Supply Co., Inc. year 2000 processing capabilities or readiness are "Year 2000 Readiness Disclosures" in conformance with the Year 2000 Information and Readiness Disclosure Act of 1998 (Public Law 105-271, 112 Stat. 2386). This designation applies to information delivered directly to you or through other materials.
To Whom It May Concern:
We have received your inquiry with respect to the potential for problems with existing computer programs as we approach and pass the Year 2000. We are aware that potential problems may result from programs using two digit date codes (i.e. 98 to represent 1998) which may not be able to determine whether 00 is 2000, 1900 or some other century year.
This notice supersedes any accompanying requested certification and confirms that we have been in the process of undertaking a Year 2000 audit of our computer systems to determine what, if any, additional Year 2000 compliance issues we face. We believe that before December 31, 1998 we will be Year 2000 compliant, but we cannot certify, represent or warrant to any party that we have resolved or will resolve all potential Year 2000 problems. We anticipate that our continuing audit will address such issues and that the Year 2000 will not cause any business interruption or inconvenience. This notice is for your benefit and not the benefit of any other party.
We share your sensitivity to the Year 2000 issues. We will continue our efforts in this area and look forward to maintaining our business relationship into the next millennium. If you have additional questions, however, please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned.
This Year 2000 Readiness Disclosure: (i) designates all prior Year 2000 correspondence, forms, certifications and the like we have sent you as Year 2000 Readiness Disclosure(s); and (ii) supersedes all such documents.
Very truly yours,
Tina G. Miller
